The first mystery in the new comedy series is “Who Stole the Barkbox Contents?” This month’s box featured the detective dog Sherlock Bones and his friends, who are all on the case of stealing a dog’s kibble. Madeline, a dachshund and resident ghost crab on Pawleys Island, was sniffing around the beach when she spotted a crab digging a hole. As she chases the ghost crab and barks at it, she catches it and eats it.
